Display items in odd numbers (1, 3, 5, 7) to create visual interest. Group three items at varying heights to create an order of visual importance. Four inches should be the maximum height difference between table and lamp height.

On Walls
59 inches is the ideal wall height for hanging and viewing artwork. Placing the bottom edge of a mirror at 40 inches means you will see your reflection even when seated. Hang groups of photos or artwork 3 to 5 inches apart, but not more than 10 inches.
